Jay:

I talked to someone in the kernel group about the multiboot failure that
you see in the x4500 grub menu. According to him, we no longer use
multiboot since we change to dboot in snv_80 or later.

Can you check to make sure that the x4500 is not an install client on
another install server ?

i.e.:

admin at osol-inst:/tftpboot# installadm create-client -e 0:19:bb:60:ec:ca
-t /export/home/images/osol-0906-106a-ai-x86 -n osol-0906-106a-ai-x86
Setting up X86 client...
Cleaning up preexisting install client "010019BB60ECCA"
If not already configured, enable network boot by creating
a macro named 010019BB60ECCA with:
Boot server IP (BootSrvA) : 10.6.68.21
   Boot file (BootFile) : 010019BB60ECCA
admin at osol-inst:/tftpboot#

On my dhcp server, I can see that the Boot Server is set to 10.6.68.21:

# dhtadm -P | grep 010019BB60ECCA
010019BB60ECCA Macro
:BootSrvA=10.6.68.21:BootFile="010019BB60ECCA":
#

Can you check your dhcp server to make sure the BootSrvA is point to
v20z and not another install server ???
