Hello hi.
Every time I install OpenSolaris 2008.11 on X4540, after the
installation, the system reboots, then the system sits on the grub> prompt.
I have installed Solaris 10 without problems and it boots without
problems. From Solaris 10 the boot dev = c1t0d0 with device path
<edited>/pci10de,377 at a/...
and cfgadm -al points to c1t0d0

On OpenSolaris 2008.11, when I run cfgadm -al, the first deive is c4t0d0
with the same device path as above,
When I install OpenSolaris 2008.11 on device c4t0d0 with the same device
path as above, the system reboots after install and sit on grub> prompt
cfgadm -al
shows c4t0d0 to be the first disk with the same device path as with
Solaris 10.
Ilom = SP firmware 2.0.2.15
build 39379 from EIS CD 24FEb09

I tried 4 different disks now, but osol do not want to boot.

Can you tell me which disk I should use to install OpenSolaris 2008.11
on and if there are any bios or grub settings.

Thank you
Marius
