hi guys, i've been working on a GUI for the DistroConstructor and have come across a problem. to get the info about a package to be put on a table, like the existing package manager, i am doing as follows 1.pkg list -a to get the list of package names 2.pkg info <package> to get its info and parse it and put it in the table. alternately i could do pkg info -r to get all the package info but the problem is that it takes a lot of time , about a minute or so, which is unacceptable for a wizard app. Any suggestions , or means, to get the details of all packages of registered authorities faster ?
