Clay Baenziger was helping me with this yesterday. But is now on
vacation and told me to post questions to this group.
IF this is the wrong location, please let me know...
I just tried to use ai for the first time.
I am running the dhcp server on a separate machine to the ai server.
And am trying to load a sparc machine with 0906.
I used Clays slides and Chris Armes blog to set this up, but am using
real machines not virtual boxes.
It rebooted loaded 111b very quickly (using the default manifest) and
gave me a console prompt.
At the console prompt there were some disk errors, but I was able to
login and look around.
a pkg install failed since //usr was read only, and sure enough it was
mounted on a lofi device, from /tmp/solaris.zlib
I did a reboot and saw the updating /a/.... so the boot was at some
maintenance mode?
Anyway the machine did not reboot. Its not bootable now. Can someone
help me figure out what is going on, and where I go from here?
The reboot messages below are a little concerning since they are
talking about ufs, and I did see there is a zfs root (rpool).
Do I need to change the boot device is the bios/open boot? But to what?
