Could these customizations become part of a livecd package that just get removed after copying to installation target? This would make it so that it is easy to understand exactly what customizations are needed to create the livecd image and ensure that as that set of customizations change over time there is no need to add logic to the installer to undo those customizations. -- Mike Gerdts http://mgerdts.blogspot.com/
