Hello,

I would love to add 'zfs set compression=on /rpool/ROOT/opensolaris' to
OpenSolaris installer.
So lately I've been reading caiman slim_source for adding zfs set
compression=on,because
lately increasing OpenSolaris specs makes would take bigger disks

I now decreasing OpenSolaris packages deleting non-useful packages for
netbooks.
.but I am afraid I might not catch up with that 'bigger' size
OpenSolaris latest has.

You know there are much netbook users running OpenSolaris -
the netbooks such Eee PCs,which have small size SSDs like 4GB.
but I think I have to make minisized distro for netbook.it is good for
OpenSolaris beginners.
You know they can try easily on netbooks,

Checking the source I found
'caiman/slim_source/usr/src/lib/liborchestrator/perform_slim_install.c'
and edited, rebuild with nighly and place
SUNWgui-install,SUNWinstall,SUNWinstall-libs and SUNWbeadm
in OpenSolaris LiveUSB.but when I used 'gui-install' on the LiveUSB
but I couldn't work said 'Segmentation Fault'
and dumped core.I checked the core files a bit there were errors because
of 'liborchestrator'..well..I have no idea...

Does anyone have ideas? Any ideas are very much appreciated for me.

Thanks a lot,

-masafumi
