Yes, I think the "manifest-locator" service can be defined in such a way that it provides functionality fit for all boot-styles, yet it itself is boot-style unaware. i.e. the trigger happens upstream. This offers us the ability to not have to associate definitions like 'media-boot == no service discovery' baked this deep into the boot process, which will be much easier to maintain in the long run. Something not mentioned in the spec is where the prompting for a manifest occurs (choice 1 in the boot options). Were you planning on doing this in the 'manifest-locator' service? Either way I think that needs to be described in the spec. thanks, -ethan
