The menu will come up at boot time, and will have four choices:
1. Run the installer
2. Run the DDU
3. Shell
4. Reboot
The programs run by the first three selections will return to the menu
when they do a normal exit. One exits the menu by rebooting.
The shell is there to allow any manual tweaking (e.g. special network
setup for the install), as well as provide a way to use the system
console if desired.
