[caiman-discuss] Writable /usr filesystem needed on live CD for Driver Update

Hi Dave.

Talking with Bart on Weds, we realized that in order for Driver Update 
to install any package with a driver, including those with manpages or 
other goodies, the /usr filesystem will need to be writable.

Possible options:

Moinak blogged about a filesystem module where original files could be 
from a lofi-mounted source, and new files could be written into RAM.
