Hi Jean.

Sounds reasonable to me, since the original flexibility is retained.  I 
would make sure the added attribute has a descriptive name.  dup_ok 
isn't descriptive enough.  Something nearly as descriptive as 
"save_in_pkg_image_area" but shorter.  How about pkg_image_save?
