Thanks for doing this. Most of what's there looks good but I think we
have missed a few things involving some pkg transform voodoo:
usr/src/pkg/Makefile:
/200/ PM_TRANSFORMS= publish restart_fmri defaults extract_metadata \
/201/ disable_depend_checks
Line 201 above should be removed from the PM_TRANSFORMS definition
Also:
usr/src/pkg/transforms/disable_depend_checks
This should be deleted since its only sets a dependency bypass for pybootmgmt.
I don't know if the pkg bug it refers to still exists. If so you should
probably double check to see if you
need to include this workaround in your ON addition of pybootmgmt
