Thanks for the reply Jens. I'd use Js::object() too, since it's more descriptive and readable than Js::value(), since we're trying to make a JavaScript object in that notation, anyway. However, as I was searching through the code, I noticed that the JsHelper marks the object() method as @deprecated. I guess this means it might be more proper to call Js::value() to future-proof our code.
