I'm not sure if I'm asking this question in the right place. I have some pages that output a reasonable amount of information. When I run a speed report it tells me that "This site is not using HTTP compression, otherwise called content encoding using gzip. Consider compressing your textual content (XHTML, JavaScript, etc.) with mod_gzip or similar products."
I've never used HTTP compression and wondered if it can be triggered with CakePHP and if it can what happens with browsers that don't it (are there any now) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cake PHP" group.
