Seems not... as my problem was the Oracle after all!!

Installed a Mysql test db to test it all out and worked flawlessly, so
i know the oci file had to be the root of my problem!

Changed the dbo driver to the one included in the 1.2-pre-beta ...
Poof error's gone!
