thanks for your reply. Am using CakePHP 1.2 the only files I have added are IAW with the aforementioned tutorial: ~/app/controllers/items_controller.php and ~/app/models/item.php
I've set the apache document root to the /app directory of Cake, and when I go localhost/item(s) I get no reply - not to my suprise as there is no directory or anything else that seems to have been created. Will go through the above docs. I have skipped through the manual, it does seem a little all over the place at the moment, but I hope to make sense of it. Many thanks, Damo.
