We did something like this a while back. The administration of
Wordpress was entirely separate from the cake side of things, though.
I imagine you would run into problems with authentication etc. if you
try to get them to interact. Writing the blog/cms bit in cake is not
at all difficult, but might be time consuming if it's your first cake
app.
