Hey, I was wondering if there's any possibility to send notification-emails automatically? I do NOT mean emails which are send when a post gets a comment or sth like that, I mean when you for example have an appointment on Aug. 27th which is stored in the database, I want the SYSTEM to send a notification email maybe one week before that day.
I could write a check routine when the user loggs into the system which sends all relevant emails, but this would mean the user has to login and sometimes a user won't use the system for maybe 2 or 3 weeks. What do I do if I want to call a function EVERY DAY at the SAME time?
