Hi Melanie, I have a problem with the same effect that you described but I've noted a different thing: the text I insert on edit is correctly saved on database, but if it's a long text it doesn't appear in the textarea when i re-open edit.ctp; instead if it's a short text (let's say one single row) it correctly shows in the textarea on edit.ctp
