mod rwite is not working on the server or is not set correctly

 I don't use IIS but as far as I understand some have found a few tweaks
need to   be made to get IIS to work

anyway as I say I don't use IIS but there are comments in those links from
people who are using cake & IIS

in the config/core.php file you can set cake internal url rewrite as an
alternative
