Chris Brody commented on CB-504:
--------------------------------

I am almost ready to release a project for a customer and I am still feeling
increasingly ignorant about the whole Xcode development thing. I certainly
don't like symlinks, you never know what OSX wants to do when we do a
non-standard installation thing and I don't really care to experiment on my
customer's project.

I think I will just go on by following FAQ item #10 to keep the
project-specific framework.

This is not a real issue if Cordova becomes more stable. But if we need to keep
doing adaptations, maybe using the major and maybe minor release number in the
framework name could help some people go back and forth between stable and
(b)leading edge versions. Or just add documentation of FAQ #10 into the
installation kit itself so people will see it more quickly.

> It is becoming somewhat difficult to keep up with the frequent releases of
> Cordova in our projects, especially when some breaking changes are possible.
> If it is possible for each release of Cordova to be installed with an
> identifier than it is easier to take a slow migration between releases.
