Jesse MacFadyen commented on CB-504:
------------------------------------

Would it make sense to modify the installer so it maintains previous versions?

ie. this would be the framework path:

Users/Shared/Cordova/Frameworks/1.6.1/...
Users/Shared/Cordova/Frameworks/1.6.0/...
Users/Shared/Cordova/Frameworks/1.5.0/...
Users/Shared/Cordova/Frameworks/Current/ *simlink to 1.6.1

Of course the cordova-x.x.x.js file included in your html would have to agree
with the framework you are linking to, but this could potentially be an easier
path.

> It is becoming somewhat difficult to keep up with the frequent releases of
> Cordova in our projects, especially when some breaking changes are possible.
> If it is possible for each release of Cordova to be installed with an
> identifier than it is easier to take a slow migration between releases.
