I don't see the issue here. The example code we ship is apache-owned, so the license header should be there.
Why is swapping in a user's application assets into the www/ folder, overwriting the example assets, for cordova projects unacceptable? Most people would do this. Before you go making any big changes we need to discuss and address the "problem" (I think it is just a misconception about how this shit works) if you see this as an issue. I don't see how you patching only the WP7 implementation to strip the license header solves the problem: the same situation exists on all of our implementations. I'm not legal guru but this is clear-cut to me. Anyone else willing to chime in?
