Tim Kim commented on CB-1033: ----------------------------- Hrmmm, Another thing I noticed is what happens when you shrink the website horizontally. If you go to cordova.io and start shrinking the window size horizontally, eventually the top nav bar links collapse into a drop down. I'm thinking of having a layout where the we have the top header stay the same but have two drop downs. One for the version and the other for table of contents. Then we have the left nav bar for links to the other pages of docs giving the rest of the space of content. When we start shrinking the site, the left nav bar should become unfixed (not sure if that's the term) and have the content flow below it. Not sure if that 's do-able cleanly - it's been awhile since I've practiced my css-fu, but I'll give it a shot. In any case - I think that will match Cordova theme and retain the functionality of how the docs are right now. Seems to be a good middle ground. Other than that, I'm uncertain how to layout the navbars. There are quite a few items just for the api references and guides, so having a horizontal nav bar at the top for all of those links would be a mess. Especially if we consider putting everything into a drop down. I hope that's descriptive enough, might've been easier to just draw a picture :) > Update Documentation Theme to Match Homepage > -------------------------------------------- > > Key: CB-1033 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-1033 > Project: Apache Cordova > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Docs > Affects Versions: 2.0.0 > Reporter: Michael Brooks > Assignee: Michael Brooks > Fix For: 2.0.0 > > > Update the theme to match [cordova.io|http://cordova.io] -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
