2.2 is not released yet -- do you mean you've gotten source from git
repository, or have you actually downloaded 2.1?
There have been multiple fixes related to LocalStorage in ios6 applied after
the 2.1 release, so please pull from the git repo. Alternatively, we are
planning to tag a 2.2 release candidate today and you can wait for that.
