up again, something in the last changes makes CW 1.2RC rev. 4593 stalling the
system
when used with the provided debian init script with safe_callweaver or
callweaver,
start with su -- -c safe_callweaver callweaver or same in /etc/rc.local works:

root 4505 1 0 10:25 ? 00:00:00 /bin/sh
/usr/sbin/safe_callweaver
129 4509 4505 75 10:25 ? 00:00:45 /usr/sbin/callweaver -vvvg -f

tom3:~# callweaver -r
CallWeaver svn-1.2 SVN-4593 http://www.callweaver.org - The True Open Source PBX
=========================================================================
Connected to CallWeaver CallWeaver svn-1.2 SVN-4593 currently running on tom3
(pid = 4509)
Verbosity is at least 3
    -- Remote UNIX connection
tom3*CLI>

according to aptitude log theres nothing changed on the target box, and ive
changed nothing other.
just updating regularly on the compile host by building packages and scp'ing
them to the CW box.

filed as http://www.callweaver.org/ticket/347 cause other distros startup
scripts maybe affected, too.
