Hi, I am trying to send faxes using spandsp and callweaver over T.38, using the example from here: http://www.callweaver.org/wiki/Faxing+with+CallWeaver
But sending multi-page faxes fail (unless I switch off ECM). I obviously googled my ass off on this, and nowhere is there a solution for this. I stumbled upon switching off ecm by accident and it seems to work (with my 1 AS5300 gateway), but if I want to use this on a larger scale I don't know what switching off ECM does to the quality... Does anybody of you have used this on a larger scale and is there better documentation out there on how to tweak certain settings like resolution, and how to get this info (sending and receiving durations etc) in a database? In this page there is also the following: ;Fax detection and switchover should be done by the receving party. Setting ;the following variable will enable CallWeaver to send the invite for the initial switchover if ;a fax CNG is detected. (useless since trunk 2585) ;Set: T38TXDETECT=something What do I set in the "something" ? Basically I know I am sending through a cisco gateway but that one doesn't always initiat t.38 for whatever reason. Can I "force" the t.38 negotiation somehow?? I am using the snapshot of 20 Oct 2007 ... with spandsp0.0.4pre9 Warmest Regards, Walter Klomp _______________________________________________ Callweaver-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.callweaver.org/mailman/listinfo/callweaver-users
