Bro Ka Deux, Thanks for thoughts of the week. It's true we have different view on one object, a Khmer tale, I forget the title, bout the five blind men ftried to feel an elephant. and all of them called the same elephant as different thing, one felt the elephant's tail and said this is a broom, another felt the feet and said these must be pillars of a house and others felt different parts of the elephant and thought they are different from one another, same thing as we look at an object from different corner, we would draw the picture of that object differently, depend on from what corner we stand, same thing in life, we cannot always judge one another as right or wrong just because they have diff point of view from us. " A a bee sting Ta Prum Kg. Som Port, he gets so mad with the bee, after that this same bee fly to my Atemoya tree, this bee transfer pollen from one flower to another, that help pollinate my tree, I smile at Ta Prom and told him " it's good I love that bee !"

This reminds me about my old time sala école during the early 60’s. One day, my Lok Krou sent all of us to stand in the school yard and look at the flag pole which was erected right in the middle of the yard. He told all of us to stand at attention and look straight at the flag waving for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes he sent us back into the classroom; then he asked the first student: - What did you see when you was looking the flag for 5 minutes? - I saw a bird flying, the first student answered. - How about you, what did you see, the teacher asked the second student. - Yes teacher, I saw clouds floating deep in the sky. - Perom (a made up name), how about you? The teacher asked. - Yes, I saw a Cambodian flag was waving on the top of the flag pole teacher. Young boy, Perom Answered. - Neang Thavary (a made up name), what did you see when you was out there? - Yes, I saw bird flying, clouds floating and a Cambodian flag waiving. Little girl, Thavary answered. And the rest of us told him what we saw; we saw thing differently. Some of us saw the same things. According to this we can say that each person can see the same thing different way, and think different perspectives. In our culture, we have been nurtured, educated and raised to believe that bees mostly are bad for flowers; A lot of books, poems, and stories described woman as a flower and men as a bee, etc. Let’s learn some a new way in different paths, and directions positively. As our Lord , the Budhha, sees bees differently; as a good model. Please see proverb below: Have a great weekend, With Regards, K2 >From the law offices of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP.
