Do you know what happened to Khmer empire today?

The people change over time from one generation to another etc....
Any countries on earth change.
You cannot make any comparison from one generation to another.
They move on and never stay the same.

I don't hate Thai or Vietnam like many people do.
Actually, I would be happy to see Cambodians join Vietnam as one
country.
But I prefer Cambodians join Thailand instead because we must stop
Cambodians from killing each other.
In order to do that, Cambodians must change their own culture, which
is impossible.
So, the best way is to make Cambodia as a part of Thailand.

That is the attitude of Cambodians. They seek for power all the time.
They kill each other for power.
They suppress their own people for power.
They destroy others for power.
They destroy their own nation for power.
They kill human beings for power.
