This week on Q&A, our guest is Derek Leebaert, author of “Magic and Mayhem: The
Delusions of American Foreign Policy from Korea to Afghanistan.”
In this program, Leebaert discusses the problems in American foreign policy,
including those who shape it. He points specifically to the past strategic
decision and objectives of U.S. policymakers and politicians.
He also discussed what he calls “the six illusions of foreign policy” listed in
his book. They include: every foreign policy problem has to be acted upon;
every foreign policy problem has to be decided with a sense of urgency; some
foreign policy advisors have “star” or “celebrity” status as experts.
Leebaert has been a professor at Georgetown for 15 years and is currently a
partner at MAP AG, a Swiss management consulting firm. He is author of “To Dare
and to Conquer: Achilles to Al Queda” (2006) and “The Fifty-Year Wound: How
America’s Cold War Victory Shapes Our World” (2002).

Gen Jones who is Stepping Down as Obama's National Security Adviser may have a

Gen. James Jones is calling it quits as President Obama's national security
adviser, Fox News has confirmed. His resignation will be effective in two weeks.

As of today,Cambodia is still occupied by the Vietnamese troops despite the
call from the US president to Vietnam to cease her occupation of Cambodia since
1988.
Cambodia needs Independence from Vietnam and the Vietnamese invaders.
Vietnam must cease her occupation of Cambodia at once.
