Here is what I have been saying about buddhism in Cambodia. It is a pawn that Cambodians use for their advantage. When buddhism is working FOR them, then they claim that it is their religion. When buddhism is NOT working FOR them, then they hate it. They kill people like killling animals. It means that Cambodians are people with no foundation when it comes to religion. If they really believed in buddha, it was impossible that they did what they did during the khmer rouge regime. I am not talking about just the acts of those khmer rouge officials. I am talking about Cambodians as a society.
