Your proposal for adjusting stops is reasonable, at least for the larger
ones.  For thze smaller stops you might try using a set of number drills as
gauges to transfer the settings.  You could also just calculate the smaller
openings from the largest, and again use drills for finding the correct hole
diameter versus pointer position.  A nice alternative would be a meter able
tio measure light at the film plane.  Besides ones designed explicitly for
this task, you might try a meter intended for measuring exposure on an
enlarger easel.  Just make all measurements on a uniformly lighted wall.

       Your right there was a stop and I just bent it down and the shutter
now is able to open fully ( about a extra 1/2 inch in the  overall diameter
was achieved ..Now I have to figure out how to callibrate the f-stops to the
new lens.  Can any one shed some light on that?.  I suppose I just use a set
of callipers  and measure off of the old lens appeture settings to diameter
of opening  and make a new plate and etch the stops by transfering the
measurements.. ... jc
