Hi Gene,
I found the 3" Pacific Optical lens in a recent Surplus Shed catalog. They
give the front element diameter as 4 3/8" and the rear element diameter as
4 1/8". However, the lens shown in the picture appears to have a much
smaller rear element than front element. What does your lens measure? Is
the rear element small enough to fit through the hole behind the lens board
on a 4X5 Graphic?
I have a Graflex XL 58mm Grandagon. The rear element is too large to fit
into a 2X3 Crown Graphic, unless you unscrew the rear element, mount the
lens board and shutter on the camera, and screw the rear element in through
the back of the camera. It mounts fine on a 4X5 Crown Graphic, without
taking apart. Is that true with your lens?

                                                 Leonard
