Hi Leonard,

The measurements you have are correct.  The reason the front element
looks so large is that there is a fair amount of metal around the
glass.  On the back the diameter you see is almost exactly the dia of
the GLASS.  No way I could use the lenseboard or the bellows.  basically
had to gut the speed, and make a sort of goatskin diaphram.  Hard to
describe, when I get a little farther, I'll send pictures.  Thanks for
the msg.
