Hello Monte,

I just came up from the garage, where I was working on the lensboard for my
project camera. It is a view camera using Aero camera lenses with a focal
plane shutter from an old 3x4 Speed Graphic. So I am also interested in old
Aero lenses. I have three from a Pacific Optical KS-87B Camera, and I have
the front and rear groups from a Folmer Graflex K-20. Heck, at any given
time, Military Aero lenses are the most expensive, highest quality camera
optics on the planet. If we can figure out a way to make them work for us
then good on us, I say. I've seen a lens like yours on eBay before. I'm
not really familiar with it's intended use, and I'd be curious about what
you find out about it's performance. There are a lot of these lenses on the
market now for very attractive prices as the aerial photography business
rapidly goes digital. I wish I had the money to buy up a whole collection.
