Habit # 11 'Brisk Walking' Habit # 63 'Positive Attitude Phrases' Habit # 66 'Motivate yourself with music triggers' I will not get into all of the details of the above habits. (that's what the book is for) what I will do is tell you how I have combined these 3 positive habits in my life. OK, here is what I do. I have made it a habit to walk around my community every morning (2.1 miles) Since I have started this habit I have lost weight and I have more energy but here is what is really exciting! I went to Radio Shack and bought an inexpensive pocket cassette recorder. I picked out my favorite songs that really make me feel good and energized. I made a list of positive phrases about health, motivation, success, etc., that I wanted to re-enforce in my mind on a daily basis. I played the songs on my stereo system and stood next to the speakers with my pocket cassette recorder. As the songs played I read the phrases aloud making sure that I was close enough to the microphone so that the recorder would record both my voice and the music. What I ended up with is a tape of great energizing music with my own voice in the background repeating positive motivational phrases. Now when I go on my walk every morning, I put my cassete player in my pocket, put on my headphones, and listen to the music and phrases as I walk. If you want to be supercharged with energy and motivation there is no better way to start your day then with this combination of positive habits! You can also add variety by periodically listening to other motivation tapes, bible verses, etc. I hope these positive habits have changed your life the way they have changed mine and many others around the world.
