(United Press International via COMTEX) -- Things went terribly wrong for a confused Massachusetts bank robber when he stormed a university copy shop demanding money, the Boston Herald said. Police believe an ATM sign fooled the would-be thief into thinking he was in a bank when he passed an employee a hold-up note at the shop on the Boston University campus. "They informed him they were not a bank. He said he was looking for a Fleet bank," said Boston University police Capt. Robert Malloy. Soon after, a man with a matching description did hold up a nearby Fleet Bank in Brookline, escaping with only $200. Investigators believe the suspect, finally flushed with success, then held up a different bank about five hours later.
