I have a theory that statements on a certain show on G4TechTV
might have had something to do with this. At any rate, Sony has
decided to go ahead and include the usability of the MP3 format on
their new Network Walkman NW-HD1. Designed to compete with the iPod,
this new MP3 decision is going to help them out a lot here, no

Looks like DVD Dual has a little competition coming up next year.
That is right boy and girls, looks like another standards battle on
the horizon. A Taiwan manufacturer is gearing up for the long haul
with their new Super Multi setup coming out here soon. Things ought to

Computers in cars in nothing new. Ever since the 80's, computers
have been a big part of keeping the cars on the road working as they
should be. Now I bet that Henry Ford never envisioned Apple
G4-equipped Tatras (a car) cruising the roads of tomorrow. That is
right, one geek felt like the best way to top off his car was to add a

Looks like Sony made a mistake with the choice of force-feedback
technology for their controllers. Yup, they were sued by Immersion for
not getting permission to use this technology, which Immersion just
