October Brings A Rich Harvest Of Security Problems
On October's monthly patch day, Microsoft released 9
advisories, and the most interesting advisories and patches
aren't necessarily the ones that get the most attention.
Many of the advisories refer only to server versions of
Windows or to Exchange, and many of the problems are
unlikely to be serious issues in the real world. But the
most interesting thing is how Windows XP Service Pack 2 is
affected.
