>That is interesting!  Wierd!  I don't remember anyone  writing about that, and we put our daughter in french immersion.

It came out of the Russian immersion thread, when I posted about my Paula's kindergarden.  She is doing so awesome, BTW - coming home with new words & phrases all the time, and having such fun.

> Emily was in the school down the road for 10 days, and I called one of the local French immersion schools, and they had space so we pulled her out, and put her in the new school within two days of calling!  She is doing excellent!

I'm glad that it's working for you, too!  That was a very interesting article, I tried to find the original at Nature.com but I would have needed to buy a subscription.

> Our big topic on Halloween a few months ago, then it seemed so far from my mind, and now it's just around the corner!!!   Anyways hope to hear from you all soon!

It's getting so pretty here now, with the leaves all changing colour, I love the fall!  There are some pretty spooky decorations in our neighbourhood, we've been having fun walking around & looking at them.  We have a birthday to think about, too (P's 5th is Nov 6), which is actually being pre-empted by an away football game that her dad is coaching so the party'll probably be the next weekend.  I never had birthday parties as a kid so it's kind of hard & wierd for me to try & plan something, but P had so much fun last year I have to try again!

Baby Linda is doing well, growing like a weed, sitting up & blowing lots of raspberries of late.  DH & I have been sick, first with a cold & now with some sort of intestinal bug but other than that all is well.
