I let the saleman where I bought my Palm Sidewinder talk me into 
buying the XL instead of the XXL (I'm 6-1 and 220 lbs).  It just 
arrived today and before trying it on, I put on just one pair of 
long underwear.  Although it seemed to fit well while just standing 
up, when I sat down as you would on a tramp, it was fairly tight 
around the back and shoulders.  I would definately go a size 
larger.  If Palm's sizing chart says you should be in a large, then 
go XL!  With all of the advice given on this thread as well as my 
experience, you should have no question anymore.  Good luck!
