A word about offshoring. I'm hiring in Toronto, Ontario, Canada right
now and I'm finding a lot of resumes from people emigrating from India
to Canada. To me, this makes sense. Canada isn't a bad place to live,
it's not as difficult to get into Canada as it is the US, it has the
same set of timezones as the US does and the wages here aren't as good
as the US but are far higher than India.

Not that a little anecdotal example for a small window of time is
reflecting reality but I thought I'd mention it. It will be interesting
to see what happens in the near future as I've heard that India is
itself experiencing wage pressures.

Stede,

I'm not certain if the tone of your email is such
because of a cultural difference or because of your personality. Either
way, you could lessen the confrontational style of your posts by not
calling people's ideas and thoughts stupid or dumb. Words like this, in
English, when applied to people, are offensive.

The impression I'm getting is that 'Stede's opinion,
backed up with little fact, is right, and everyone
else's opinion, backed up with little fact, is wrong,
and deserves to be ridiculed by Stede'. Maybe you'd
like to be little more clear if this isn't your
intent.

I'm sure through all the noise you have something
meaningful to say. Your message is just hard to hear
through all the insulting static.

Chris.
