I think I've got it working, with this as the 'fixer' call:

env['SCRIPT_NAME'] = '/'
env['PATH_INFO'] = env['REDIRECT_URL']

end
I think you might have meant REDIRECT_URL and not REDIRECT_SCRIPT_NAME?
