Having followed the link from the s-o-w website I see the suggestion 
that there is no point in writing to any elected representative other 
than one's own. Did I see somewhere else some suggestion that blanket 
bombing was considered useful.

Sorry if I missed what has been suggested elsewhere but I have been 
rather work occupied this last week squeezing a gap for an excursion 
from Glascote on Uncle Mort, back down to the G&S in time for the 
meeting on Saturday at Gloucester.

Is there some quick way we can identify all MP's with a canal or 
waterway in their constituency, and having obtained such a list, how 
could we best mobilise their support (that's a euphemism of course for 
how can we best convince them there are thousands of votes to be lost 
if they aren't seen to support the local cause).
