Oh dear, Niall. Is a typo in your name the best you can do? In response to
my posting saying what an open-minded person you were?
The reason I can say what I do about you is that you have been banging on in
this same way for years, quoting facts from discredited sources and muddying
the waters whenever someone like Adrian or myself attempts to take issue
with you. You talk about 'greens' in the same way others might do
terrorists. Normally I take no notice of you, but your posting on this
strand three days ago rubbishing Bruce's attempts to help the SOW campaign
by saying that - I quote verbatim - 'The only catastrophe which faces us is
the prospect of being taken over by a group of people whose political
ideology was thoroughly discredited and rejected and who are now working
towards the same ends by indirect methods' was a madness too far.
And quite what this has got to do with closing lock gates, I don't know -
but then I often don't follow your logic.
Anyway, enough of this personal stuff, I refuse to get involved in it
further and it is anyway the technique you always use to avoid discussing
topics when they get into areas in which you feel intellectually
uncertain. I asked you a perfectly reasonable question based on the issues.
Do you believe in a a carbon emissions market or don't you? Who knows, there
might be something we can agree on :-0
