I have just had the very pleasant task of drafting a letter for my sister to send to her MP about the cuts. She likes the waterways, but did not have sufficient knowledge of the issues to write her own letter so, without any prompting whatsoever from me, asked me to do it for her.
I was particularly pleased to ask for her MP's support in reversing the cuts, because her MP is Gordon Brown! Dorothy
