I thought David Suchet was very clever, he got the point across about all of the different users of the canal system emphasising that it wasn't just boaters who used them without compromising the film publicity job he was obviously there to do.
Then old two jags came on and started defending the Labour Govt. and their involvement with the resurrection of the inland waterways before a question had even been asked.
