I mean, what could possibly go wrong with that? You have to put a sticker on it " This installation uses cables colours to two versions of BS whatever..." Add that to the common habit of using 3 core armoured as single phase with live = red, neutral = blue and earth = yellow maybe with a bit of G/Y tape on it... All the emphasis seems to be on amateur installations, but I regularly encounter stuff done by qualified NICEIC electricians which varies from the incompetent to the downright dangerous. -- Niall
