There's a good place in Daventry which I used twice when I cooked Thorn's alternator. Very helpful and very reasonable. Number has gone missing in 'phone changes but Brian Holt has it. You could email him unless he sees this. BTW is it a standard 35A lucas alternator? If so I have a spare one at WFB somewhere. Unfortunately i'm in Wales ATM.
