I agree - we have loads of wood/coal burning stoves on the boats at Northolt. If the wind is blowing the wrong way you have to walk through loads of smelly smoke. My diesel bubble stove is clean burning (more of the time), and stays in all night. Only problem is the need to spend money on oil to burn, other than that - far better than wood/coal stoves.
