I have been bounced yet again but I would like to put my pennyworth in on the
above subject.
Can I assume BW only want boaters with internet access to have moorings?
Amongst my friends I am in the minority with my wi-fi etc. This scheme cannot
be transparent if 50% or more boaters do not use the internet. The moorings
will go to people who want cheap accommodation but it does seem that BW are
encouraging people to live on board. Why else provide launderettes/ showers
etc. Is this to provide an income when the canals become unnavigable?
As has been said before the number of continuous cruisers will rise.
I was interested to learn that Adrian has been promoting this auction when the
DBA boycotted the issues meeting. Who are you representing Adrian?
